The Three Little Shepherds of Fatima tells of the three little children and the messages from Our Lady of Fatima, in a story for children with full page color images.  The introduction invites you to visit the little mountain village of Aljustrel near Fatima, Portugal.  Children, parents and grandparents will become part of the story that began in the year of Our Lord 1916.  You will see the old fashioned windmills on the hillside grinding wheat into flour and the sheep happily grazing in the pasture.  Next, you will meet and become dear friends with the three little shepherd children: Lucia, 10 years old, Francisco, 9 years old, and Jacinta 7 years old.  Follow along as they are visited by the Angel of Peace in 1916 and Our Lady the following year, 1917.

Our Lady from Heaven wishes all to imitate the three pious shepherd children who loved all that is beautiful and good; listened to the Immaculate Heart of Mary; and lived the sacramental life in a heroic fashion.  Pope John Paul II beatified Francisco and Jacinta in the Jubilee Year of 2000 and exhorted all children to never forget the Shepherd Children of Fatima.  During the Centennial Year of Fatima, on May 13, 2017 Pope Francis canonized them as saints.

The beautiful and edifying illustrations by Sister Lorella, make this book not only an enjoyable book for children but a work of art in the life and Christian culture of the youngest children to be declared saints who were not martyred.  This book will be an enjoyable read for children to learn about the Three Little Shepherds to whom Our Lady promised Heaven.
