Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a way to repay Our Lord for the love He pours out for us and to make reparation for the indifference with which His love is often met.  The custom of making a Holy Hour began with St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in the 17th century when Our Lord asked her to make one every Thursday night in remembrance of the original holy hour in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Three variations with an inspiring message from St. Peter Julian Eymard, the Ven. J.J. Olier, or St. Alphonsus Liguori.

Immaculate Conception Notecards

Choose from two notecards, one with the inscription: Thou art my Mother, O Blessed Virgin Mary, as St. Catherine Laboure may have said to Our Lady.  Our Blessed Mother came to St. Catherine to invite her wayward children back to a life of holiness and offered  the Immaculate Conception medal that has become so popular, and has come to be known as the Miraculous Medal due to the conversion and healing of many in both ailments of body and soul.

Both of these notecards feature a vintage French image of Our Lady as she appeared to St. Catherine Laboure, and inside is a message from the Blessed Mother to St. Catherine promising great graces to those who wear her medal and recite the shor prayer faitfully.  There is also ample space in both note cards for your own personal messages, letters, or notes to yourself.

The souls in Purgatory can no longer help themselves.  Instead, they rely on our help to shorten their time in Purgatory and speed them on their way to Heaven, an act of charity they do not forget once they get there.  Having Holy Mass, the Church's Greatest Prayer, offered for them is the very best way we can help them.
