Symbols of Mary Stickers - Set of 12 

This set features original artwork of four various centuries-old symbols of the Blessed Virgin Mary surrounded by titles from the Litany of Loreto  on 2 1/2" round stickers, three of each!

Four different images (one of each included in each set):

• Fleur-de-Lys:  Usually thought of only as a symbol of France, the fleur-de-lys is a mediaeval depiction of an iris or 'sword-lily', one of Our Lady's symbols, showing both her purity and her sorrows.
• Immaculate Conception:  The mediaeval monogram for 'Maria' topped with a crown for 'Queen of Heaven'.
• Mater Dolorosa:  The symbol of the winged heart pierced with a sword dates back to the 1st Century and depicts the prophecy of Simeon:  "And thy own soul, a sword shall pierce..."
• Mystical Rose:  Another symbol dating back to at least mediaeval times, just as the rose is usually considered the most precious flower in gardens on earth, so Mary is the most beautiful flower in the Heavenly Garden.
