Saint John of God, a saint from the 16th century is the patron of booksellers, printers, and hospitals. His life can be summed up by his quote: "Do all the good we can, in all the ways we can, at all the times we can, to all the people we can, as long as ever we can."
In junior high, in art class while learning lettering, I came upon this saying of Saint John of God, but didn't know it was his at the time. Now many years later, it hangs on the wall above the printer, as a daily inspiration for Saint Joseph's Press.
