St. Patrick composed this prayer on Easter morning to invoke God's protection before going to confront King Laoghaire in his effort to establish the Gospel of Christ in Ireland and free the land from the darkness of the Druids. It is still a powerful invocation even today.
Our deluxe holy card has the prayer printed on both sides, with an antique image of the saint driving the snakes out of Ireland on one side and an image of a Celtic high cross on the other.
Wonderful to display on your family altar or in your schoolroom or for giving to college bound students.
Printed on white cardstock.
