Each of us has two mothers.  After all, at the foot of the cross, the Crucified Christ gave us His Mother to be our very own, and saints starting with John the Apostle have shown us that they took this seriously.  This card honours both our mothers by giving them a rosary.  It makes a wonderful Mother's Day card, but can also be used anytime during the year.

This variation has an antique image of the Mother of God and the prayer of St. Athanasius to the Mother of Grace:  "It becomes you to be mindful of us, as you stand near Him Who granted you all graces, for you are the Mother of God and our Queen.  Help us for the sake of the King, the Lord God and Master Who was born of you.  For this reason, you are called full of grace.  Remember us, most holy Virgin, and bestow on us gifts from the riches of your Graces, Virgin full of graces.  Amen."
