This notepad honours St. Benedict, the Father of Western Monasticism and a very powerful saint.  He is famous for The Rule of St. Benedict, which many religious orders have used as their basis, and for the saying Ora et labora which summed up his belief that one should seek balance between prayer and work.  His feastday, depending on which calendar you follow is July 11th (New) or March 21st (Traditional).
