This notepad honors St. Catherine of Siena (1347-1380) with detail from an antique German holy card and a quote from the Saint about salvation.  St. Catherine was a Dominican Tertiary who had many mystical experiences including a mystical marriage to Our Lord and an invisible stigmata.  She was very involved helping the poor and sick in her city, as well as in Church politics of the time.  It was through her influence that the Pope was convinced to return to Rome from Avignon.  She wrote many letters, prayers, and a treatise on Divine Providence, earning her the title  Doctor of the Church in 1970.  Her feast day is April 29th (New) or April 30th (Traditional) and she is the patron saint of nurses.
