Saint Anthony's Brief and History Print

In the 13th century a Portugese woman visited the shrine of the great St. Anthony of Padua because she was greatly troubled by the fallen angels.  St. Anthony gave her this prayer now known as St. Anthony's Brief.  It freed her from this oppression and once again she was filled with happiness.  

This print of St. Anthony's Brief features the prayer in both Latin and English above the image of Saint Anthony of Padua painted by Francesco Zurbaran in the 16th century.  Below the image is the history St. Anthony's Brief followed by another short prayer to the saint.
